Workshop "Digital Storytelling"

Do you like to use your mobile phone not only for selfies but also to tell intriguing stories?
Would you like to gain insights in the field of audiovisual journalistic work?

Then the “Digital Storytelling” workshop organised by the Goethe Zentrum Tirana might suit your interests.
During our five days we will learn the fundamental skills of journalistic research and narration, shooting techniques and recording audio to finally produce a short video covering the topic of “Flight and Migration”.

This workshop is part of the oral-history project “Archive of Refuge”, exhibited in Berlin at Haus der Kulturen der Welt and in Tirana at Bulevard Art and Media Institute.
The workshop takes place at Bulevard Institute of Art and Media from 01.11. till 05.11. from 3 pm to 7 pm under the guidance of journalist and TV host Aleksandar Metodjiev.
The course will be held in English and is free of charge.

The essential things you need to bring along to the workshop are your desire to produce video and your smartphone.
If you have a story related to our overall topic of flight and migration which you would like to share through your video, this would be a plus.
